6 Reasons to Ditch your Lousy Texting App and get Rhinogram
Those of you who know me know that, in addition to orthodontic consulting, I also manage a large orthodontic practice in southeastern Virginia. While the price point is a couple hundred dollars a month, its capabilities blow the “big box” applications from Sesame and Televox out of the water. Here is why I like it:
- Clean, clutter-free dashboard that is great looking from the user side and texts that look and feel like normal texts on the patient side. No weird logins or funky phone numbers for the patient to decipher. They also offer integrations with most practice management software.
- It’s secure. HIPAA compliance is big these days and Rhinogram’s secure dashboard makes it easy to obtain patient consent quickly and seamlessly. It even marks each patient with a badge to show that consent to text was granted. Rhinogram also stores all patient communication in a secure, dedicated library, so you can call up past patient conversations quickly.
- Send and receive photo and pdf attachments! Yes, you read that right. It’s perfect for conducting virtual appointments or exams, sending treatment plans or appliance instructions. Can your texting app do that?
- Automated text reminders! Face it, your patients don’t want to be bombarded with telephone and email reminders anymore. Get your message instantly to the palm of their hand where they are most likely to see it.
- RhinoPay. Rhino-PAY! No more awkward phone calls or stressful conversations about money at your front desk. Send your patients a link to pay their initial fee, their missed monthly payment or their replacement retainer charge before their appointment.
